Life VS. Golf

When I think of golf, I can't help but think of life. In life we are the golfer , the ball is our choices and the flag represents Jesus. The goal of life is to keep your focus of your goal which is Jesus also the flag. While keeping your eyes on the ball which is your choices. We try to make the right choices in llife, but sometimes we take our focus off the flag and eye off the ball and we hit an out of bounds. In golf your only allowed to call a mulligan on the first tee and the mulligan isn't even in the official rules of golf. God believes in mulligans even if there people in this world that don't. God is all about mulligans and will give us as many as we need. God giving us another chance to make the right choice is all that matters.

Believe God

Sometimes things happen in our lives to mold us. They are painful at the time and we can't always see the big picture, but God can. As I was talking to a precious lady from church tonight who said God is faithful. I needed to be reminded of that because I had forgotten where God had brought me from. It's easy to believe God when things are going great in our lives, but it's in the tough times believing God is the challange. That's when I head to the golf course, there is just something about being on the green. I can be playing in a crowd and it feels like it's just God and I. It's something magical. Some may never understand I just feel closer to God there.
